The Anugrah Narayan College is located vear boring road of Patna city in Bihar. It is one of the oldest and popular coeducational college of Bihar. The college is affiliated to the well known Magadh University of Boadh Gaya. The campus is spread over 13 acres that provide enough space for students. The two main sports which are mainly plays by the students in the college are Cricket and Hockey. It has its own playground where students spend their time by playing during the leisure time. The total number of teachers are working at present in the college is 106.

Establishment

In 1713 the college was founded and the name was given as Gardanibagh Tutorial College. On January, 1956 by giving the tribute to the Bihar Vibhuti who is one of the founder of Modern Bihar i.e. Dr. Anugrah Narayan Sinha, this college was renamed as The Anugrah Narayan College.
